Meet the cake artist

  Andy has been baking his way into people’s hearts ever since he was a little boy growing up in The Bronx, NY.

 Inspired by his mother’s love for cakes, he began experimenting in artistic cake creations for small family events, which then sparked his passion for baking and sculpting beautiful designs. At 18, Andy continued on to become a custom cake decorator at Empire Cake and later, City Cakes where he expanded his range to additional mediums like modeling chocolate, sugar work, and more structural 3D cake designs. He soon became a highly sought after cake artist and entrepreneur, founding Andy Cakes NYC in February, 2020! 

Andy's custom cake studio specializes in chic modern designs as well as fun 3D sculpted cakes suitable for weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. He is known for his keen attention to detail, high levels of creativity and originality, and his unique ability to recreate 'anything the eye can see'. No request is too outlandish, and he loves having the opportunity to make any occasion even more special through his passion for cake art. 

His work is constantly evolving and 'wowing' his following because he is driven by his desire to   make even the most complicated or "impossible" idea, as he would say, "Simple."  His exemplary molding skills are renowned amongst his clientele, which includes the likes of Cosmopolitan Magazine, Project Runway, Law and Order SVU, and many more!
